HELP

I've had a SP-404 for a while now and it's worked fine until recently. I upload all my own samples onto the sampler using a SanDisk 1.0 GB compact flash like most people and it held plenty of samples until it told me that it was full even though I did not use a whole gig of memory. I deleted all of my samples off and started over and now it won't even let me use the number of samples I had before. It only allows me to use a maximum of 36 MB even though a gig has over 1000 MB. I bought a new flash card of the same type but it won't work at all. Can someone please help me with this? I have a show in a week and would really appreciate the help.
