hey, i've been thinking about upgrading my audio interface to a usb mixing desk, probably behringer as they're good and cheap. thing is i was thinking, as i'm using line instruments (sp, groovebox) and phono from the turntable is it actually gonna work? i've currently got my stuff going through just a two channel DJ mixer which works just fine for my general purposes. But when it comes to recording more live stuff i have no xlr inputs so have to sacrifice quality by using 1/4 inch jacks. also i'll never mic up a drum kit this way. Problem here is that there aren't the phono and stereo line inputs i'd need to use my studio in its current setup.
it's a bit of a pickle, i'm sure you heads on here must have thought of ways round it, it's teasing my brain! waddayafink?
