At the moment I'd recommend either the iPhone 4s or Samsung Galaxy S2 if you're looking for phones powerful enough to run music apps with ease.

But if you don't care too much about brands and operating systems, you might want to investigate the music apps first and then decide.

Personally... I'm really digging Android on the Samsung Galaxy S2.

Excellent point indeed, in the end I prefer making beats on my MV (sold my SP-404 yet again unfortunately.. simply didn't use it often enough).

I have both an ipad and a best android tablet and apart from games, the android can do everything the ipad can, at least as well as the ipad does. There are some games, but not nearly as much as on the apple side. That said for general day to day things i use the android tablet much more than the ipad.

i finally took a samsung galaxy sIII, it seems that from what they say it has a more powerful processor than the iphone4.
i cannot use it still because my new telephone contract begain the 8 of july, i'll wait.

well, that's not my preferred software for pc (i prefer Acid, A Live, Tunafish) but knowing that FL studio is also for android, that's really cool!

Just got this a coupla nights ago, and it's pretty great. Total electribe vibe (X0X set-up, recordable fx, etc.). Also figured out that you can import yr own samples, which makes shiz a game-changer:

Electrum Drum Machine:
Pretty basic set up but clean and clear and optimized for tablets. Reminds me a lot of Hammerhead from back in the day, but in all the right ways. Needs FX, otherwise, it's cool:

Just getting into this...looks a bit like Reactable and works a bit like Eno's Bloom app for iOS. Simple and cool, and constantly evolving cuzza the drifting machines (which you can also turn off):

I am looking for a software to make android apps so that i can sell them. I don't know all the coding and systems and stuff that actually build the app so I would like it to be fairly easy to use and a simple clean format. Can you please give suggestions?

Features blow everything else out of the water. But you have to deal with tracker format and if you're not familiar with trackers, it may seem like a really nice spreadsheet and not much more, but trust me. Sunvox beats everything on android right now.

Other cool apps i found over this year were some cool sounding synths: synprezfm, common fm and common analog synths. I don'thave the links with me but you can check them on google play and they're free. Pay attention to the common fm and common analog ones 'caus i remember there wer two or three under the same name: check those ones in white colours.
