Moonrise Kingdom

Post by yo-yo crunch »

anyone see this? not a big wes anderson fan by any means (hated darjeeling) but this really blew me away right from the opening credits. seen it like seven times which is unheard of. i've never paid this much money to see something in the theater so many times. gonna go again tonight tuesday $7 special!

moonrise was good, but relative to his other films it was annoying. H&M advert/wes over doing rail cams.

Moonrise kingdom is defo more accessible to a broader audience though.. relative to D limited...

i'm sorry but are you saying the movie felt like a H&M advertisement...H&M the clothing store?
i feel you on the rail cams but don't think it was overdone. its one of his trademarks and i thought it worked perfectly in moonrise especially the opening sequence moving around the house. it was very effective at the end of darjeeling too
