When compressing to .mp3 or anything else you can't really save audio quality, I think the best thing I can think of is place your kick hi and snare on frequencies that stand out more even if the overall sound fidelity is reduced if that makes any since. You can also do a google search for what variable and constant bit rates do when you apply them to .mp3's which you can do in audacity. Thanks for the beat
