I wrote this song as an ode to the humble pallet jack. These marvelous tools enable heavy stock to be carried from Point A to Point B. Alternatively, you can put the jack in reverse and scoot around on it like a maniac. Good times are guaranteed, especially if you've been strictly told by your employer to use the jack only for the Point A/Point B function.
I made this track after a long day on the pallet jack. I recorded the 'vocals' through the 404's effects to give them some character.
OMG, you are the fuckin' man for this. When I lived in Seattle I built computers for the first few months for a huge computer recycling place that would also build computer's and ship them to disadvantaged schools around the world and we had to load huge trucks with the shipments using pallet jacks. Me and my friend from the bay both skate so we used to ride the pallet jacks around and ollie and grind them and shit so I feel you on the tribute to the fullest. We used to smash 'em across the warehouse and turn tight ones, or my personal favorite was to get up some speed and cruise along then bust out the "got a little captain in you" move with the foot up on the pallet jack, priceless. Oh yeah and that beat was fire. Reminds me of some ill fourtet shit. Just a side note but tet is french for head. Four heads or forehead, dude plays on words as well as he does on the sp.
