or is race really something to seprerate...?

im white but i have a very expansive vocabulary...and i just found the wonders of MF DOOM
and frankly im inspired....ive been writing and there not to bad of vocals...
i mean any opinions?

Get some MC Paul Barman. He does some shit with MF DOOM (Hot Guacamole is a real dope song. I think it's a prince paul beat, nice sample of creedence's "down on the corner"). He'll show you how a white boy can rip it.

are you serious? don't matter what color you are, if you have skills in every area that a MC should have than it shouldnt matter at all. my boy frankie is white and he goes in when he spits. check out some of his myspace shit, not his best work but it hasnt been updated in long. check out What Happened, or check them all out. i got some newer shit thats crack that i could upload and you wouldnt ask that question ever again about being unsure of white MCs

whaddup, I take this rap sh*t very seriously and if you want to spit then you better get on your grind. I've met a lot of white cats who want to rhyme and could SPIT!, but once they reach a certain point in their life, they fall off and follow a square's life. If you're real about it and from the heart, go for it, cats will feel you if you're real. Just ask yourself one question though...What can and will you contribute to the "rap game".

Yeah, well when most white kids realize they'll never pay bills rappin' it's hard for them to not just get a good job and fall in line with society, just like all the black rappers that think rapping is the best way out of poverty and keep rapping as opposed to getting a college degree and well paying professional job. The door swings both ways, I've seen a lot of smart black kids in the ghetto that could earn a degree but would rather keep it real and live the street life or whatever that means just like a white kid would go to back to a square life. It's not easy for anyone to break out of society's mold, but that's just my personal opinion.

japan has a vivacious rap/hip hop/dance scene as many other countries do. their's latino rappers and haitian rappers, jamaican rappers, croatian rappers etc and they are similar in some respects but really the underlining culture seeps through and adds a flair of variety. it's not just an ebony and ivory thing. to be honest there are some really good white rappers now that are not that hard to find. and a couple of weak black rappers that are hard not to miss.
