newly purchased sp-303 has ceased to turn on

was working flawlessly until tonight, i go to turn it on and nothing happens. tried different outlets and everything, still nothing.

the return time just ended so i cant send it back.

is there anything i can do besides order a new power adaptor online and have to wait a week or more to use my 303? if that would even work.

that sucks. i do believe there was a thread about making a ghetto battery pack adapter for it. maybe you could do a search for that

Sounds like the power adaptor.

Provided you get/set the right voltage and polarity then just grab an adaptor at your nearest electronics store.

i made it with formal (anther sp/st224 head) and it works great. check that trhead if you can.

I have a dumb question did you try plugging something elese in the power outlet to check if maybe that circuit is blown? Sometimes those outlets with the red and black reset buttons get pushed and will make the outlet stop working. That happens around my house sometimes.

i tried an entire different outlet, and i tried plugging in other stuff to the same outlet and the other stuff worked.

i found an adaptor on ebay for like 17 bucks and it will be here tomorrow. not too bad.

if thats all thats wrong i will be ok.

was just really bummed because i was already getting a lot out of it and it hurts to go a few nights without making anything when you were really feeling up to it.
