Is it possible to set a limit on the parameters of an effect knob for the SP-404?

For example, I have a piano sample that I perform in a song for about a minute, and when the piano cuts out, I want to do a pitch drop with the pitch effect and knob, but in order to do this, I have to set the CTRL 1 knob perfectly in the center before the song starts. If I could set it so the pitch knob turned all the way up was the normal pitch, I'd be set!

I think that the pitch knob is set so when it's turned all the way left, the pitch of the sample triggered is -24, and when it's all the way right, +24. How can I make it so that all the way left = -24 and all the way right = 0?

Thank you, I hope this isn't too confusing.

You can use Remain to set the parameters before using an effect and IIRC each effect saves the last Ctrl 1/2/3 state used.

You can't modify parameters and AFAIK there's no way to do exactly what you want with the 404.

Both DJFX and Tape Echo can work as a pitch shifter of sorts, maybe you could try that instead.
