i'm sure most of you have heard about this but it was just released finally...i like apollo brown's production,but damn,it can get kinda reppetitive with the same quarter note chops on almost everything,lol.it's also kinda lame he gave O.C. a few beats previously released on "clouds"... O.C.'s lyrics are pretty incredible for the most part though....completely incredible by most m.c.'s standards actually.it's mad impressive that he's still on point like this...

yeah this is super dope. yeah oc probably picked them beats from clouds. funny I sampled the same thing for one of the cloud joints he rocked. it was cohesive overall the album. also that gensu dean is cool i like the count bass track alot tho. gonna check out the other project u listed. mellowmusicgroup puts out alot of dope projects.

yea,to me mello music is killing any hip hop label or collective right now,by far,so many dope artists...dtmd is nice,but i'm really more impressed with toine(the mc) than dunc..a lot of his jazzy beats are just kev brown knock offs,and his soul joints aren't much more than looped up.he's mad younger than the rest of the roster though,has a whole lot of room to grow.the producer mmg needs to put on is scruff!his shit would fit so perfectly with them.so yea,gotta disagree with dtmd being the dopest....oddisee's the man--he's got endless ill songs/beats,but check out one of his latest--shit is absolutely crazy--

yea,i know i must be coming off like an mmg street team member or some shit,lol,but i can't help it,there's no other label or group of artists keeping me excited about hip hop like they have been the last year,i check their bandcamp at least every week for any new releases.

Nah kicko do you man they are an incredible team of producers n mcs but I like straight forward no frills melodic stuff especially over a good mcs rhymes so the focus is on what being said (head nod factor implied)
