Exporting Through DJ mixer
I just got my 303, and I've only made a couple beats. I've just been using my line in on my mac to export them, cause my audio interface only have one channel, and therefore only can record in mono. BUT, I do have a usb DJ mixer, and I was wondering if just plugging the 303 into the mixer, and then record to my mac via usb would give better sound quality then my line input? And if so, should I use the mic input on the mixer, or the RCA input?

is it a newer mac? i would just bypass the mixer unless you're using the eq on it or something. and why would you use the mic-in on the mixer if you want stereo? i would assume the the mic-in is mono...
Re: Exporting Through DJ mixer
Yeah, I figured out the mono thing, but how about the line in on the mixer? my mac is 2 years old, and I'm not using the EQ on the mixer. But I have red that using the line in on the computer gives it poor sound quality and takes away some of that warm 303 sound. So I'm just wondering if connecting it to my mac with USB through my mixer would maybe be a bit better?

i can't see how a usb mixer would make it any warmer but you probably can't go wrong either way. i would record the same beat out the 303, with mixer and without, and A/B the two. post your results if you do!
