Guitar Center warrenty experience

I purchased a mpc 2000xl used from gc in October. I heard the warnings about the screens. My MP started getting lines and thank God I bought the used warrenty for 25 bucks. Just called the warrenty people, they are sending me a pre paied ups sticker so they can replace my screen. No questions asked
Just a heads up, I usually don't but the warrenty on new stuff but am glad I did on this XL. They say that it will ne fixed in 7 to 10 days of arrival. They are again paying to ship it back to me on their dime. Freaking painless. You guys have any experience. With gc warrenty program?

Thanks for the heads up. I always say no to the waranty and they look at me like im crazy.

I think they get a commission off of the warrenty. I'm just stoked about the used gear warrenty being dope. I bought a RC 30 new and the gc Guy convinced me to buy the 2 year GC warrenty, I come home open the box and boss has an included 5 year warrenty. I was pissed.

funny i just posted something about my homie who works at guitar center which is legit. but warranty tho is a different story. i got an akai mpk mini and got warranty on it. thinkin if it broke i could replace in store. naw i had to get it shipped to akai. then they replaced with a new one, but it took awhile to get back. thats my only knock on it
