I definitely dig the amount of knobs, adsr etc.... But it's a mono synth....

Mono synths are super buzz killers for me.
The only thing I would use this for is possibly bass lines. Seems to have a thick sound and if it's truly analog, it will definitely have some warmth...

I was looking at the most hated Roland Gaia the other day and I was honestly impressed. It's crazy how much people hate on a synth on the Internet without trying it out. Hater gear is really appealing to me ;) because the price is low

My next synth will definitely have as many parameters and knobs for tweaking as possible.

E, fck the haters, And Try it out locally if you are interested but unsure

hi Culprit!
well i'm not really interested, just curious, but when you said it's mono then the curiosity died...
i'm not interested in mono synth at all. bass notes can be done with almost every synth. i tought it was a more interesting product.

for some reason this one appeals to me - yea its mono but super nice little interface, no menu diving/combo presses, no patches.

I dont have any other analog stuff anymore (past: xoxbox, jx3p/jx8p,mopho,evolver) so I wanted to get something a little diff than all my VA/digital stuff. I'll report back when I get it

Check out AutomaticGainsay's vids on youtube.

the interface is truly appealing and friendly, you're right Blavatsky. personally i got an ms-20 and so mono synths are done for me.
but if you want analog then i understand you're aim to purchase it, plus i think it's not very very expensive (or not?)...

500$, so really that is cheap for a monosynth w/ a keyboard

Kinda wanted a mopho kbd (did not care for the module interface) but was not super in love with the Dave Smith raw osc. sound that some ppl were.
I figure if this doesn't jive with me it will be super easy to resell

I had the Mopho module (sans the keyboard). It was OK, but I ended up selling it. I'm more of a knob tweaker instead of a menu surfer for one, and at the very least I wasnt feeling the presets. I do have an original Pro One at least. At this point, I want a Moog of some type.

I just picked up a slim phatty a few days ago. Another monosynth but i loved the sound quality. With some 404 effects and resampling, itll be the shit. Alot of the new synths have so many dam features you forget that your buying a synth in the first place. I looked at that new casio synth that has all the sounds a cheap ass keyboard from radioshack would have. You can only find a true synth in older models. Even though it says synth on it, if there is a lack of knobs and too much menu diving, it doesnt feel like a synth. And mono isnt all bad unless you actually play piano and know chords. And if it not the quality your lookin for then you could get a bootleg copy of reason and have all the stnth sounds you ever need.
