building audio equiptment

yall ever build any audio equiptment? from scratch or a kit? im about to try some projects...i think im building a synth from a kit or maybe a theramin...once i get my feet wet ima start doing it from scratch and eventually maybe schemetize them myself

im interesting in these , and also electronics repair, to fix my 4 track and ms 20.

I want to build low noise analog mixers and amps but dont know where to start, i know digital cuircit kits are cheap, but i want all analog home made machines, but again i dont know shit. so thats all i got.

I've only built a fuzz pedal from a kit and done some very basic (read: bad) circuit bending stuff. I'd like to do more as well , check out the shop on this site:

They have kits for DIY pedals, synth noise makers, stuff like that.

ive heard analog mixers and amps are pretty difficult...i kinda want to start another music project thats just me on all homemade stuff...i think to sort of combine my 2 ideas of a synth or theramin im going to do the synth then add a photoresistor for a theramin-like effect....that sites pretty cool bravatsky...check this one out too
