What other pieces of hardware do you use?

big ups SP famlay!!!

besides samples, i make beats with a microkorg synth, a kaossilator, a fender mustang bass, and an alvarez classical guitar.

I'm interested in finding out what hardware (besides your SPs) you guys use.

I'm especially interested in dave smith instruments, if anybody can go in-depth about those...

Hey JOTAESE. I have owned a Polyevolver, Evolver and Tempest. They are all pretty cool, but its such a specific sound you better really like it if its your go to synth. I wouldn't mind another evovler desktop and if I was rich would cop another Tempest, but I'm good with my iPad and OP-1 for now. Might get an Artuia MiniBrute to fill my analog cravings.

im rocking the yamaha psr 36 digital syntheziser. super dope 80s pop sounds and a drum sequencer. I am happy, i have owned shit loads of keyboards including a rare dx 7 but had to sell it when i was poor.

All i use now is my 404 and ipad. I own a s900 but it mostly just sits there looking vintage. I also use an epiphone sg bass and sx strat copy for my more "musical" stuff. Hoping to add an acoustic bass soon. Sold everything else, including my beloved mpc. At 25, i finally understand "less is more" and i'm feeling the benifit. I may add another 404 in the future.

SP555,SP404sx,MV8800,SP505,KP3,Kaoss Quad, ESX, JV1010, Microsampler,Fusion 88 key, Shruthi-1, AirFX, Record player,
SH32, various guitars/basses/pedals/drumkit

Trying to trim down, gear is fun but you can get lost in too many options/MIDI/obsessing over parts rather than getting music done.

I'm just using 404+505 combo right now. I sample from VHS, vinyl, tape and my iPad. Keeping it real simple for once.

Got lots of other gear but it's all in hibernate mode for now.
