triggering samples in range of 4 octaves simultaneously

Post by mutul »

Hi, if using 4 octave MIDI keyboard with sp555, is it possible to play samples of different banks (let's say A-C) in one pass, without even touching the sp (not switching banks) and record the performance on one of the pads on bank F for example? If yes, the effect can also be used for all 4 octave samples as well and recorded?

Yes
I think the 555 has banks A-E on one midi channel, and F-J on another - so going across 4 banks with a midi controller is doable.

Put on your effect, assign to all (effect assign + sub I think)
hit resample, hit sample....hit your empty pad in F
as soon as you trigger the first pad in your 4 octave run, the resampling should begin with the effect applied.
