I listened to this yesterday when I was "lurking" arund the site. With a tape deck image like that of course I'm gonna hit the play button to get a preview of it.
I started producing in the late 90s, cutting up vinyl and recording onto cassetted. That picture brought back memories of my 2 tape decks, one to play the instrumental I recorded run through line1 on my mixer and then the other I was recording through the output. I laugh now cus back then I was making the emcee(s) spit their whole verse in one full record. A slip up meant everyone would have to start over. And screwed is the last dude to spit his flow and mess up and make the other 2 guys have to redo the session again. That was crazy. And hellu fun at the same time. It was raw and live.
Listening to this made me remember all that. And I liked how it cut from raw, tape hiss to a digital sound mix, and then back. Even had like a 80s influence with that chinatown ring to it. [thumbsup]

It's time well spent when all over the internet you dig through thousands of audiophiles only to feel neutral about or have no soul or originality to it.
Nice to come across some stuff that is creative and actually sounds good. And seeing other cats using this little SP303 in good use is motivating.

Not interested in selling my music in digital format (though in the future, physical copies are probable and those will be sold...can't afford to pay for everyone to get free vinyls and tapes...), but I will upload when I get a chance for you if I still have the wav floating on my harddrive. I should since Reaper archives pretty much anything you record. I just have to sift through the random file names.
