Sp- 303 Volume Pot

Hey guys,

I recently picked up a broken Sp-303 on the cheap. It is a little beast, but the sound is all kinds of effed up. After breaking it open a few times I realized all the outs were good, a figured that the pot was done for. So, I Purchased a 3b audio taper from mouser and it looks a bit small. I decided to give Roland a shout and they told me the part was on back order for 4 weeks and it would cost 10 bucks. Needless to say I didn't bite. They gave me the number RK092L12C 50KAx2. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this.

Hey Guys I have been back and forth with mouser and Roland. I have come up with this. I will post back with my results.

Any word on if this worked? I'm in a similar position with a broken volume pot that I've been working around by using bits of wire to skip the potentiometer and output at full sample volume. Not the best fix and not a permanent one by any means.

was searching for a vol pot for a 404, and stumbled upon this mouser site. good price, but the postage was waaaaaaay too expensive (8000% more ). i wrote to roland and they have some pots in stock, the postage is fair enough, am now waiting for their response regarding the order...

i've got a little problem with my volume pot too. I have looked around websites, but the best thing is to give it to a friend that is electrician, i think this is a generic potentiometer. If anyone is in europe and want to sell a broken sp 303 i would pay for this anyway!
