i'm new here

check out my joints on the 303. i'm most proud of leaf picker and SFO so peep those.

i had it for a few monthes now but only got around to learning how to program patterns like 2 days ago. i've just been doing it live and overdubbing on the recording and the consequence is that it sounds kinda off.

Whaddup!

Digging your tracks. Bossa Super Nova is quite buttery too.

Like xdrewx said who cares if its off. Real drummers fluctuate in tempo too, thats what makes it soulful cuz you can hear and feel the push and pull of the rhythm. keep up the ill work!

good music, and I couldn't care less either if it's off because I'm too busy enjoying the originality and creativity of your beats.

thanks man, i mainly use the sp 303 to sample and arrange. although on a couple tracks i added microkorg for synth/vocoder and on leaf picker theres this faint ambience in the background which is me shaking spoons and forks with the echo effect added.

all the songs have samples from records mostly bossa nova records. i get the glitchy, stuttering effect by trimming the samples until its really short, setting them on loop and gate and triggering them sorta like a keyboard. and thats about it.

Everything sounds really nice. Nothing jumps out as being off. I really like the laid back vibe of your stuff. I'm with you, too, "SFO" and "Leaf Picker" are the tops. I like those two a lot. Maybe "Leaf Picker" a little more, I wish I could download it. Keep it up.
