I just saw this docu tonight. It is producers that are going out of their comfort zone working with live musicians. DJ premier conducts a classical orchestra. Skrillex works with the doors minus Morrison of course. Pretty eyes works with country and Leanne rhimes. Crystal method does some soul. Erica badue,most Def and Nas. All make an appearance. There is a YouTube trailer. Check it out let me know what you think.

i don't understand the meaning of this project.
maybe some video more can show me what is it in reality.
what i can say it's emotioning to see an old great guru like Premier saying "hey, i like this!".

are the dj/producers involved wrote music for orchestra or are they collaborate in writing/conducting other people musics?

Each artist has a different approach. Premium sample a bunch of classical records and conducted an orchestra to perform his piece.
