as a fan/professor of the 606 as you are, how do you find the 505 beast? what do you think about compressor on it(i found it weak)? why is dope resampling on the 505 (i suppose it's for the fact you can resample from different banks)?

100% sp-555. I used a lot of verb, the DJFX looper to get the pitch down for the impact. The Subsonic effect without the bass to trail off the decay. The EQ to cut mids after the impact. Twas fun.

it is from the sample provided.. i basically just sped it up, made it louder, and used bit crush on it then kinda "cleaned" it up with filter and eq
