pattern switching

Hi,

Can any of the sp boxes switch patterns in place? Meaning, if I'm on pattern 1 end of beat 3, switching to pattern 2 I hear pattern 2 beat 4?

Swapping between patterns playing linear like this is much more natural to me.

on my 555 I can switch to the *beginning* of a pattern at anytime but this isn't what I want.

simply: no

606 and 505 might have the option to cut/copy certain regions of a pattern and make it a new one (just like a mpc) but i'm not sure about that...
