Yes but its a sampler instead of drum machine. I used to have a machinedrum and much prefer the octatrack!

SOLD! Sampled the shit out of it, but wanted an Octatrack so bad because at the end of the day I'm a sample based artist even if it is samples of synths. If I could afford it I would keep it because it is really awesome, but I needed to sell it to cop the Octa. I also was obsessed with it since it was the Boom Chik back in 07 so I just had to play it no matter what. Thats 5 years of gear lusting. Never was too stoked on the Octa until the latest update with all the awesome trig modes. Knew I had to have it when I saw that.

I've eyeballed the octatrack a bunch but like you said I was never sold on it but recently i've seen much better demos of it...
