I have a kp3 and a kaossilator. The kp3 is overpriced in my opinion however it is very cool. The kaossilator is fun to jam live while drums or sequences play. Cool fx in a small package and battery powered. Post a video here when you get it all hooked up.

Mini KP...that's the effect unit? I'm partial to the looper effects. I kinda overuse them actually! Also, lately, I've been using it as insert EQ and Bass Compressor. Not sure if MiniKP has those particular effects. On the KP3, if you push HOLD while it's on EQ, it turns into an 8 band graphical equalizer :) If you like the MiniKP, you should look into KP3. The KPQuad is interesting as it lets you mix and match all the effects, up to 4 at a time. I haven't looked into it, but it may also have computer software to set up your effects too, but don't quote me on that! :)

Otherwise, enjoy your KP. They're fun because they're simple.

I cant wait to get the new Mini Kaoss Pads that debuted at NAMM this year. They look like little cell phones.

Btw...for advice. The Mini KP has complaints about being too quiet, so it good to make up for the volume difference by feeding it into a mixer.

Also, always use the RCA ins and outs. The headphone jack has some annoying hissing if you use it for output. The tradeoff is that you do not have volume control, but that goes back to what I suggested about using the mixer.
