nope no one does shit, the last phase of people that did anything was the tight pants skateboarders. props to them for skateboarding. but come on, people dont do anything but pretend to text message these days.

I remember , when everyone did something or was good at something.

tbo the kids ive run into dont give a shit about my era anyways.
i mean even eminem and the likes can appreciate the golden era but these kids act like it never happened.

one dude i worked with on some tracks just carries a chip on his shoulder and buys into tyler the creator being some great phenom...

just aint like it used to be fellas.. :?

i mean hip hop used to be fun, a simple drum break looped up some nice horn samples or whatever you felt like choppin up and just flowed like there was no tomorrow. granted you still had to prove yourself time and again but shit..

I guess thats why we have gems like sp-forums to keep things real. thank god

I feel like this generation has lost touch with themselves. They don't look internally anymore, it's all whats the new 'hot' or 'cool' thing; a gimmick really. Cats need to get back to looking inside and putting that inner self out. Write about stuff you know not shit that makes you look cool until the next cool thing comes along.

rap music is really boring in these days
i listen to rap since 1987 1988 when "the light" (afrika bambaataa and family) LP came out
still in love with hardcore rap and HH instrumentals
but can't stand the stuff that goes on mtv and shytt like that
like the DK said: mtv get off the air!

spot on guys im still in high school (senior) and i experience this torture every single day of my life. mindless people, even some of my friends ive noticed. it really sucks, i always hung out with an older crowd but most of them have faded away by now... and im stuck, at school, having no interest even talking to any of these goons with my 2 gig ipod listening to the same 341 songs everyday... oh and i was one of those tight panted skateboarders back in the day but dont skate too much anymore, ha!
