I've heard mixed reviews regarding VHS for audio recording but your Slum Lord tape and the Loop Star tape sound toasty and thick. Do you use SP mode? No pun intended!

Hey thanks for listening, slumlord 88 was recorded onto a used tape using sp mode while loopstar was recorded onto that same tape only I figured out how to use ep mode ( without remote here ).

I like using VHS over cassette cuz it sounds cleaner, not as much hiss( the hiss u heard was from compression) and it records stereo quite well. Cassette can melt my stereo recordings close to mono, especially if u do panning.
