My first beat ever.

Post by PattyMacAttakk »

This is the first beat I've ever made on my new 404sx. I'm really new at this so Its not great, but it's definitely a start. It's just a 4 bar loop over and over. I just downloaded Audacity, but I don't know how to use it to its full capabilities. I just played the loops live and then saved it, no extra stuff to make it sound better. I'll figure it out soon though..

Ok,
here it is:

don't judge me too harshly haha..

good start. one thing i never used to do when i started was think about the ambiance of the track.. like strange background sounds or light strings floating in the back what have you.
but really the background arrangement imo is critical in really filling up a track.
even if its a couple random spots. makes a huge difference
anyways keep it up man itll only get better :D

Do it man! Those synths are wicked, loving the vocal samples too. Make more music!
