Yeah there's still time. Tee, everyone knows you can make a beat between breaths. The main idea to this battle was to flip the samples any way you please, regardless of what sampler you use.

Here's my all ESX contribution. Tried flipping it in Reason but the results sucked.

Welcome aboard, dude! Nice beat too, you took some cool diversions with that track.

How about a brief description from everyone about what sampler(s)/DAWs they used?

I've basically used just the MV8800 to make my beat, except for a final step of normalizing the final WAV for it to be converted to MP3. The latter was done on my PC.

I had only a short amount of time I could spend on this so I had to keep things simple. Not an excuse though, I'm fairly happy with the result.

True! Still gotta learn how to use calendars... Comp closes 20th.

Turns out I'm going to be away from computers for a week starting the 21st. Phemox or Hseiken- can one of you set up the vote?

Are you sure? If you need a little more time that's fine with me. Of course, there's always a next time. 8)

I think posting the vote thread tomorrow should be soon enough, right?

I really like those drum sounds. So that was all EXS?

I put the drum samples into Ultrabeat sampler after I chopped them up. Everything else was chopped and dropped using the EXS24 in Logic 9 Express. Added effects, etc. I thought about doing the whole thing on my iPad. Still think it would be a fun project.
