Card Question again, Unformatted?

Well I have my 512 MB ScanDisk Ultra II. I have a card reader because my SP-606 is set up on the other side of the room so its much easier for me to use the card reader. Ok so I put like a bunch of 1-5 sec sounds on my card. I take it out and put it into the SP and the SP says, "Unformatted". So I plugged the Card back into my computer and formated it. Put the music back on and did it again and would still say, "Unformatted". Any help?

format it with the sp606, it's all in the manual.

There are different 'formations', windows uses DOS-32 I think, you need the 606 one though.
