Ha! Yeah, guilty as charged. I'll probably end up regretting getting into Rustie & Com Truise in a year or two, but fuck it- I like that stuff right now.

Shit, forgot to mention that one. Thanks for the reminder- 309 has the riff of the year. So stoked that I got to see them play it live.

Angels... is full of these really weepy strings that take everything to the next level. seems people were a bit disappointed by it. its a bit freeform sounding, lions skull was the tree trunk going up and angels like roots spreading. for me its what i've been waiting for from them, really love it.

Nice description, you're probably right there. Now I gotta give that album another chance...

I guess I'm an old fart now. I used to listen to Snoop and Dre and Nas and Wu Tang growing up. They don't make too much like that anymore. I like the innovative stuff that has electronic and hip hop influence, Fly Lo obviously, but also dude like james pants who are like funk hip hop electro it get crazy genres are getting looser and more vague. We need more shit like Ghostface's Fishscale in the rap realm. In terms of the "NEW" hip hop I was the biggest Drake hater, but his newest album is pretty outstanding.

i loved the new The Field album too, and Hail Mary Mallon

an aussie emcee named Trem dropped a mad album called For The Term of His Natural Life
