tap tempo technique

Who records all their samples with the tap tempo?, and than sequences them?

Explain this a bit more, I never use the tap tempo on this machine. Never seems to work the way I think it should.

this is a bit of a tangent from the original post but isn't there a way to 'control' some of the effects using tap tempo?

i could see this being super useful for the panning effect for example .. does anyone know ?

About fx: Delay can be sync'd to tempo...I think maybe tremolo/pan as well.
