ASR-10 Rackmount
Im able to get this for 250€.. my question is how do u guys make beats with rack type hardware samplers.. This one comes with 2mb of memory with no SCSI. Am i still able to extend the memory size to 16mb somehow?

yes u can still add memory. The ASR rack has all the functions of a workstation. Just no keys or pads to trigger it
So just hook up some sort of midi controller (anything with a midi out) and go nuts.

ive got the asr rack myself but i dont like to use its sequencer... i use the one on my mpc 1000. if you dont have one i still think you might be better off using logic, ableton, cubase or whatever to sequence... but thats just my opinion. as far as the price..its a steal... and you can get your memory on ebay i believe.
