I don't think there's an answer to that question. In terms of technical ability the 555 might win since it has a couple of extra features and fx but that doesn't make it better for making Hip Hop beats. You could say Reason 6 is the best thing in the world for making Hip Hop beats and a lot of people would agree with you but it isn't necessarily "better" than Ableton, an SP, ASR10, or a Casio SK1

I would say neither because they are not signature models from an established artist (Dr. Dre headphones, RZA headphones).
Ya' need some sort of signature on it to make betta beats-
I'm sure either would be ideal for adult contemporary Hyphy though
