I thought this would be a good idea for a post, what gear do you use with you SP-404? A short discription on how you use your gear together would also be nice :)
Sampler - Roland SP-404
Software - MixMeister BPM Analyzer, Sony Acid XPress
Synth - Ensoniq ESQ-1
Turntable - Numark PT-01

I got the fantom X6 and the SP rigged back and forth in terms of input/outputs. You might think that's a little redundant since the Fantom has quite the share of F/X and more intimate parameters but it doesn't have the vinyl sim compressor or the same kinda 'playable' knobs (for example the Wah). Also you can have up to 4 MFX going this way. Obviously I have a mic and monitors and all that but in terms of stuff I actually use with the 404 that's about it besides acid 6.0 for precise chopping/stretching.

I have owned many audio interfaces...and the MOTU is my favorite by far. The macbook just works... but you have to max out the ram. My nanoloop is a beta version that only works on specific gameboys... one of which is not the original grey one. I got it for $35... and doubt it would be worth selling....since I'm not hard up for pocket change. Why are you selling the SP-12 turbo?
