One good piece of knowledge has come from this : the original 404 now gets made in the 404SX style case, a bit flatter and thinner, and has the stubbier less-likely-to-break knobs

send it back... if its bent its not worth risking keeping it... plus if you ordered an sx and got a reg 404 you didnt get what you paid for..

And I really dont think I need any of the new features... 404 OG sounded pretty good to me with its compressed sound.. 1 gig is huge for me.. . meh
Now that my anger is faded it seems fine really.. I even still get the sweet new slimmer body with lower knobs n such.. which was a big point for me on the 404SX cos it sits in backpacks way easier.
