 Post subject: ... Well it's about time (I'm officially part of the family)

After lurking around the forum for a few years now I finally got myself an SP404! I had previously owned the 404 when it newly released, but at the time I was a sampling noob, so I returned it to buy an ASRX. It seems all the stars, planets, and moons aligned and I was able to get a smoking deal on the 404 for $150. It was in brand new condition except missing the AC adapter which I already had an extra. And thanks to a forum member here I already had a 1GB cf card ready to go! So not to make this longer than it should I can finally get down in the battles, beat tapes, and all the other SP forum goodness. It is official!

Having both the SP and the ST is like getting married. Now I have the best of both worlds as long as they don't start fighting/bitching with each other ;)

Thanks everybody!

I got a chance to bust out on it lastnight.... and damn it feels good to be unplugged! I put a few hours into it and my batteries are still nearly fresh :)

Getting out and about while sampling is the golden ticket!
