I'd rather make music that 200 people (if you round up) get a chance to hear and like (and I enjoy making), than for 20,000+ people making music that I hate. Obviously that isn't a profitable business model, but at least I am having fun on a regular basis...i already have a job that is a "job". Consequently, pretty much my whole family doesn't get it, and emcees I used to work with are not as on board to get more experimental with it. Ah well...

I'd also like to say that there are some dudes on here that have posted albums that the post itself maybe only had 100 views or less, of which I have listened to more than most large scale stuff that has come out this year. I won't make you rich, but just know you got a dude listening to your stuff, nodding their head with a smile on their face...and nobody had to tell me it was cool for me to know it.

the top is to get paid for doing what you like but it's a long road and that happens to only a few so doing what you like is the best option .
