I agree with Juxt, you sounded pretty tense on the mic, don't worry wether you suck or not and give the best that you have.Remember, skills on the mic aren't only about lyrics but charisma, energy and flow.
Yeah mayne, just let loose and have fun.

delivery is getting a little better, but need improve. work on lyrical content too. gotta put in a lot of time, practice, and thinking to become a lyricist. Could use better recording too- vocals dont punch thru the mix.

I like what you got going, but here's my suggestions. 1. Work on delivery being on time like ups. 2. Smooth out the vocal I can tell your hold back the true style inside you. 3.Work on making the vocal track sit in the right frequency band so it's surrounded by the beat rather than floating over the top. Nice start, you'll be on your game if a few weeks if you practice and freestyle in your head every where you go.

Just freestyle in your head while listening to your beats where ever you go and just look at situations unfolding around you while in a park or on a bus and rap off top about the things you see that way you'll always have a new topic if you lose your train of thought or trip up on the rhyme you had going.
Plus freestyling in a cipher is always more stimulating 'cause you can link off the next man like cold crush brothers and continue from their flow into yours and off to the next cat. Also one other thing you can do to get your skill up is do like word association and rap about whatever word pops in your head and go for as long as you can until you run out things to rap on and start a new word and repeat the process. Rhyming off the top of the dome is kinda like a trance state, you don't try to consciously focus on ideas as much as just open your mind and let the words flow into your mind and out your mouth if that makes any sense. Like most humans have a filter from their mind to their mouth so they don't offend people, but when I freestyle I try to turn this filter off so it's just a pure flow of expression at the moment it leaves your mouth and hits the mic. Then there's writing rhymes but I'll save that for later since this shit is way too long anyways.

thats an interesting way of putting it. and its true.
I used to MC a while back - when i would listen back at the recordings I notice a big difference in my delivery and sound depending on where I was and who I was with.
