like clockwork has a cool sound...are these all using sounds from the synth engine?? also can you elaborate a lil on the OP-1 now that you used it, what it offers and how it compares to other equip we are all familiar with. i have read the specs i just wanna hear from a user

It's a very different way of working. Very destructive, as in if you copy from track 2 to track 1, what you had on track 1 is now gone forever. Also there are the sequencers but once you record to tape so it's not midi you can't go back and edit the patch or sequence. I really like this about the unit, different workflow flexes the mind. The built in drum sounds are surprisingly really good. I creating sounds then bouncing them to the samplers for manipulation. When you sample in drum mode it automatically slices up your audio across the keys, you then go in and fine tune. This is awesome! I could go on and on, it's really brilliant and surpasses the hype.

Oh ya one sound in Like Clockwork is a sample. Other then that all internal sounds.

if they ever made a full size desktop op-1 with more controls and full midi ports id prob be pretty keen on it.. little too portable for me atm
