yes that worked for me too and after i have to cut the empty part out to make it smooth - which is the hard part of it for me :/

you been here for 3 years and don't know how to make a pattern??? you frontin?? what do you mean beat pad 1?? like a sample of something on pad 1 that you triggered??? so when your done with playing the fill on pad 2, do you want pad 1 to come back in right where it would of been timing wise if it ...

Does the SP404 have any features that will allow me to mute samples by triggering other samples? For example, if I play a sample on pad A01, if i trigger A02 a couple seconds later is there any way I can mute A01, or will they just overlap:?:

To change the bpm of a pad with a sample:
1. select the pad and press the button time/bpm
2. the knob ctrl 2 just change the bpm multiplying or dividing by two, but does not affect the sound. So if the bpm of your sample is 58 you can turn into 116 and vice versa. This can be usefull if your BPM ...
