My friend of mine had the sp-202 and he would let me borrow it,So I knew that the 404 would be similar.I bought my 404 for the efx cause I already had a mpc1000.I made a couple of beats on it but I wasnt really feelin it I was usin it more for the efx for my mp.I liked the mp but I never really ...

i used to come up with mad ideas.... now, i can't even find what I really want to do, I get way too easily influenced and each day I want to do something different.. one day (like today) i'll want to buy Reason and just compose music with a midi keyboard, tomorrow I bet i'll listen to something ...

Heres a little trick i discovered tonight.Please forgive me if i dont explain it to well but here it goes.Lets say you take a sample and you chop it up into 7 pieces.now get some drums and lay a basic pattern on your sequence. Now record how you want your 7 chops played in your sequence ...

Same here, I'll never get rid of my 2kxl though, since that box brought me back to hardware production and the fun of beat making but the 404 is where it's at. I feel you on the musical/spiritual thing, it may sound like a lot of mumbo jumbo if you never used a 404 in your life but those understand ...

I had a question for those that use other samplers and sequencers besides the 404.I currently use a 404 as well as the mpc1000.But for some reason I prefer usin just the 404,even thou its way more limited than the 1000 I feel like ive made the best stuff in my life usin the 404!The thing ...
