i recently picked up a sandisk card reader and it works fine. just dont know how to pull the samples out of the card and onto my laptop. theyre all spd files i think. not sure what that is but i thought someone here would know

haha yeah, im still also trying to figure out how to connect my vestax 07 into the sp. i think i need rca cables or something. male to male? but anyway i took out the memory card and it seems to be working better. i was suprised and worried since the internal banks were affected by it.

so i just got the 404 and recorded some samples in using my ipod. played em back perfectly within the internal banks so i thought id try out the memory card. i sampled a few sounds into the c bank but i turned my machine off and now all the samples i had before including the internal banks are ...
