I'm baffled on this....no matter WHAT I do the Peak Indicator light will not respond to my audio levels. I have maxed out the volume levels on my external instruments as well as the Roland SP-404SX and the light simply does not respond. I was trying to do some Auto Sampling when I noticed this...and ...

If you can get good at using the MARK button, you won't need to mess with the fine tuning as much...

The REVERSE button +START/END is also very helpful for making clean loops on long samples, so you don't have to listen all the way to the end every time...
