Is there anyway to quantize the 404 patterns so when I trigger a pattern they start at the start of the sequence my sequencer is playing?
Or is there a way to send pattern triggers as midi?
At the moment I'm just doing it by ear which is fine for instrumental parts but with beats there's much less ...

I made a post about getting the beatstep pro to switch the 505's banks via midi if that's any help. It works quite nicely because you can switch banks mid sequence.

So I was tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to get my BSP working with my SP505 but I figured it out so I thought I should share it as it's actually a really nice way of working.

You can change the pad banks on the beatstep pro and it will change the banks while keeping the sequence on ...
