do i need an audio interface software to export my 404 beats on to my computer?

you mean like a mute out? I use an effect like the "voice trans" and turn down all the knobs. Or Isolator and turn down all the knobs and use "remain" to select which pads to mute. I don't know about the maschine. Which there was mute groups on the SPs though. Like when you're using the sequencer ...

okay so i just got my 404 and i have a question.

i noticed that some guys have this effect where all sounds are muted when the kick is playing.
