@devee: for this battle, I remember tweaking the samples a lot/ applying a lot of effects to finaly find something "acceptable". That's why the process is weird. Sometimes, I do that ...

Props to kszexwo for the beat tape (but if you wanna battle, choose just one beat among all, otherwise how to judge ?)

I took a part of the sample and put a delay on, same with an other part and "glued" both (resampled). Then I slow down the tempo of the glued thing (with BPM mode).

I tried Caustic (not iphone SE friendly AT ALL) and Maschine (m''kay..) years ago and it was "meh"...
Gadget is fabulous, Koala looks good (never tried it tho).
I like nanoloop, the 8 bit sounds limitations really give something interesting.
Diabia$e showed what you can do with Zenbeats on insta ...
