that's too bad about pattern copy.

Here is another question:

can I time stretch a sample? obviously the pitch change effects does not effect length. I was looking to elongate samples by slowing playback. can I do that?

i agree ^ drum machine kits are built with stacked sine waves so there is no outside interference or static. if you are really a purist who prefers digging, you could also learn which wave shapes to use to build your own kicks and snares using synthesizers.

I just figured out how to adjust the metronome volume:

1) pattern select
2) rec
3)start/end/level
4) adjust ctrl 3

I believe the manual says to set the input volume so that the red light lights some of the time. That is super vague but I think it insinuates that if it hits red it is close to clipping. So you would have sufficient headroom on everything else in the sample and you can finely tune from ...
