No direct sampling, but they sell it as a drum machine... It defintely has groovebox qualities.

But I'm still reading and learning a lot here. The SPs are still my favorite instruments ( 404, 303 and 202 for me ).

I do not have the impression, that the SPs are dying. Here in Europe it's quite the ...

Made myself a late little christmas present and got a cheap Vestax MR 300 4-track from the early 90s. I don't have a manual.
The device seems self-explanatory, nevertheless I'm quite confused about recording on the single tracks... Mono/Stereo, what is what etc.
I made some test recordings ...
