how does he do that? is that an SP subsonic?
it sounds so well mixed with the sample. seems to be sidechaining the sample.
any tips on how to create it?

Yet another sidechaining thread - regarding samples volumes

I've been reading threads about sidechaining using the SP compressor (MFX 12 or 16).
The trick, as I understand it, is to have the ducked sample volume much lower than the kicks (or whatever is ducking the sample), and compress the whole track.

BUT what I don't get is how to fix the levels back?
