Yea.. set your bpm set your drum loop running so its bang on with your metronome.. set your measure on loop capture... hit record on loop capture when your down beat comes round.. should loop better..

can anyone break this down for me... im pretty slow when it comes to midi on this thing...

Hello mate did you ever resolve this issue, I'm still trying to sequence my s20 using the 505, pads 13 14 15 and 16 trigger pads 1 2 3 and 4 on the s20... It will trigger the pads in a pattern sequence also

I've manage to get pads 13 14 15 16 on the 505 to trigger pads 1 2 3 and 4 on the s 20... They even work when a patern is sequenced in the s20...

The problem is every other pad on the 505 triggers the s20 but playing one ...

So if im not mistaken you can only use the tape to pitch? no outside hardware/software otherwise?

yeah, say you have your chops arranged in a sequence you like, you can then resample the chops in order and fade where your down beat hits to acheive a ducking effect..... also can work like a ghetto adsr type affair...

Yo! sorry about the late reply.. been off shit for a while... im back now though, howd that pack come along?... id be happy to share some drums with you that i sampled through my x7000 (grubby mpc 60 sounding) and my asr, got tons of snares and kicks that have been resampled so many times through ...

to add.. it works as a great mute all button when your rinsing beats out, just turn it all down and hit the effect when you wanna mute it all quick,... ideal if you use it live and need to drop out for your punch line...

when re-sampling turn on the ring mod effect
effect level down and use the d level to fade in or out... works better than the voice transformer as its smooth...

most of you probably use this, but its something i stumbled over and thought id share as i have had my fair share of help from the 505 ...

i had a little blip, the 505 went on the shelf for a time after i got my asrx...

back on it and of course i tried using some common sense for once... the little program button on the x7000 will do wonders for ya ...

sorted.. gonna be back on the forum ...
